Level and Community Meetings 2007-2008

Volunteers participate in training and support sessions at a series of meetings throughout the year.  Leadership training, troop management and program ideas are covered in Level Meetings (listed with date only).  Membership recruitment, the cookie and fall sales and planning for local events occur in Community Meetings (listed with date and towns), which include all volunteers in a town or small group of towns. The two kinds of meetings are blended into one series, which runs from early fall to late spring.

With the transfer of 8 communities to GSRI this summer, the number of volunteers in SUs became imbalanced. To offset this until formation of service regions by the new council, meetings are scheduled by level and community, distributed evenly across southeastern Massachusetts.
