This curriculum and service project
guide will teach girls about advocacy. Through
activities, games and projects, girls will come to
understand the dynamics and real-world consequences
of bullying. They will learn about people who stood
up and spoke out about things of importance to
themselves and the world in general. They will learn
to work together to create a project that allows
them to Stand up! Speak out! The girls will earn the
Stand up! Speak out! patch. |
| reserve | Your troop can borrow this packaged program, which contains everything needed to run it during your meetings, including instructions, activities, sample projects, shopping lists for materials and explanations of the purpose and results you should expect. The leadership team conducts the program at their own pace, so it is perfectly suited to the level and abilities of the girls. The program is available on loan, free of charge, from the Service Center. If you notify us ahead of time, we can deliver to your next Service Unit meeting.
