description	Literacy is at the end of the road, and games are along the way! Play human anagrams, alphabet twister, Girl Scout bingo, mad-libs, puzzles and word searches. Create an All About Me book, and have a book cover fashion show. Clifford’s (the Big Red Dog) PAWS Journal is in the box, waiting for your entry of creative literacy ideas. Check out the PAWS to Read service project notebook and learn how to make bedtime packages for children who live with illiteracy. Girls can record a book on tape to donate to a child who doesn’t have a parent who can read a bedtime story. That and one additional activity fulfill the requirements for the PAWS to Read patch.
reserve	Your troop can borrow this packaged program, which contains everything needed to run it during your meetings, including instructions, activities, sample projects, shopping lists for materials and explanations of the purpose and results you should expect. The leadership team conducts the program at their own pace, so it is perfectly suited to the level and abilities of the girls. The program is available on loan, free of charge, from the Service Center. If you notify us ahead of time, we can deliver to your next Service Unit meeting.
