Doin' Good ·
Program in a Bag
|
|
description |
This service project
empowers troops to take on the community’s needs and
take action on things that matter to them. The girls
can choose from projects like Feed the Hungry, One
Warm Coat, Street Survival Bags and Project Linus,
or use our blueprint to create and design their own.
Troops will learn how to turn their strengths and
abilities into worthwhile and meaningful community
service projects. As a council, our girls will
really make a difference and make southeastern
Massachusetts better. They will earn a Doin’ Good
patch. |

Your troop can borrow this packaged program, which
contains everything needed to run it during your
meetings, including instructions, activities, sample
projects, shopping lists for materials and
explanations of the purpose and results you should
expect. The leadership team conducts the program at
their own pace, so it is perfectly suited to the
level and abilities of the girls. The program is
available on loan, free of charge, from the Service
Center. If you notify us ahead of time, we can
deliver to your next Service Unit meeting. To
reserve, submit an
online request form, or email
Lola Furtado. |
