This is a camp of Girl Scouts of Spar and Spindle Council, soon to become part of Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts.  Troops in southeastern Massachusetts are able to use these properties at in-council rates now.

Camp Runels is on Little Island Pond, with extensive waterfront and boating area, large ballfields, volleyball court, archery range, nature trails, campfire gathering areas. After-school and weekend programs are offered.

ACCOMMODATIONS: 2 lodges, day cap 32, sleep 25. Dining hall cap 150+, Apr 15 - Oct 15. Cap of 240 in 8 units. Units sleep 18-36 in platform tents, tentalos, open air cabins or yurts. Various program buildings, pavilions, overnight areas.

FEES: Day: 8:00a-2:00p or 3:00p-9:00p. Night: overnight, 3:00p-2:00p next day. Health Lodge, day $40, night $75, sleeps 25, $10 heat fee Oct - Apr. Program Lodge, day $40, night $75, sleeps 25, closed Nov 1 - Apr 15. Dining hall, not heated, day $30, eve $45 function only, no sleepovers. Kitchen rental (requires kitchen orientation), $100, 170 cap for one sitting, not heated. Pondview Cabin (sleeps 8, includes kitchen and bathroom) or Craft House, day $30, night $45 (both non-winterized). Platform tents, tentalos, cabins, yurts, day $30, night $50. Primitive sites day $10, night $15, includes water, fire circle, latrine. Waterfront swim area, must have lifeguard, no fee, must schedule. Boating, canoes, rowboats, paddle boats available for additional fees. No charge to use grounds only for 2 hours max, Mon-Thurs (reservation required).
