Camp Maude Eaton, Andover

This is a camp of Girl Scouts of Spar and Spindle Council, soon to become part of Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts.  Troops in southeastern Massachusetts are able to use these properties at in-council rates now.

Camp Maude Eaton Includes a Lou Henry Hoover Memorial Sanctuary and Trail, archery range, waterfront on Pomps Pond. Property borders the Shawsheen River and conservancy land. Adventure Ropes Course and Flying Squirrel high adventure element. After-school and weekend programs are offered.

ACCOMMODATIONS: 2 modern lodges. Main lodge with fireplace, sleeping cap 50 or seating for 62, full kitchen with cooking equipment and dishes. Small lodge sleeping cap 17, with kitchen. Four primitive sites with pavilions, access to water, fire circle, latrine.

FEES: Day: 8:00a-2:00p or 3:00p-9:00p. Night: overnight, 3:00p-2:00p next day. Main lodge, day $50, night $85, $10 heat fee Oct - Apr. Small lodge, day $40, night $75, $10 heat fee Oct - Apr. Primitive sites, day $10, night $15. Waterfront swim area, must have lifeguard, no fee, must schedule. Boating, canoes, rowboats, paddle boats: see equipment rental fees. No charge to use grounds only for 2 hours max, Mon-Thurs (reservation required). Adventure course and Flying Squirrel by reservation only.
