Working at WIP

Picture a camp in a serene pine forest, with shores on 2 ponds.  Picture girls ages 7 to 17 looking up to you, thinking that the game you're teaching them is the best thing ever -- and that you invented it!  Look around at the other counselors from all over the world, now among your BFFs.  Camp is where this picture becomes reality.

Camp is where you use your talents to teach young, energetic, enthusiastic girls. It's where you grow, learn and become a better person. The camp is Wind-in-the-Pines.  The experience is the summer of a lifetime!

Our staff lives and works together to change the lives of girls through programs full of fun, challenges and friendship.  They windsurf, ride horses, sail, learn about fairies, learn about arts, learn about each other.

There's the only 20' indoor climbing wall owned by any organization for girls in the area.  We have a high ropes course, a beautiful waterfront and a new, air conditioned Environmental Education Center.

Our girls go backpacking, rafting, hiking and survival camping, and we emphasize social, intellectual and emotional wellness and growth as much as physical challenges.  Our girls need a staff of young women to admire, emulate and respect.
