Day Camp Programs - New in 2008!

Pick your theme and find the week it’s offered at the camp nearest to you! You will have tons of fun in your specialty and enjoy classic camp activities like swimming, crafts, games and sports. Go to Day Camp Sites to see features of each location. 

The fee for one week at all camps except MV is $195, or $155 before Apr 30 (see details).  Programs run 9:00-4:00, unless noted. Campers may be dropped off at camp at 8:00 and picked up at 5:00 at no additional charge, unless noted.

Badge Trip
Enjoy swimming, nature, games and classic camp fun while working toward badges and awards earned by Girl Scouts and Girl Guides in other countries around the world.

Days at the Museum
Mummies, mushrooms and mastodons — rocks, bones and precious stones. The dusty old stuff in museums morphs into action in this imagination camp! Shhh — is that the collection at Green Gallery stirring in the shadows? Run from the Raptor’s Revenge, chill out at the Tomb of the Phunky Pharaoh, and find out what’s happening on the other side of the glass!

Classic, traditional day camp programs (no theme weeks) run 9:00-3:00.  There is no bus or extended supervision.

Potter and Pooh
Favorite books come to life through arts, crafts, games, performing arts, and science and nature activities.  Make potions like Hermione and go to the County Fair with Wilbur and Fern!  There’s Horton and Harry and Alice — hey, is that the Cheshire Cat in that tree?  You’ll have so much fun that you won’t want to turn the last page!

Project Funway
Try challenge after challenge after challenge — it’s reality TV in the woods!  See if your tribe can survive a day on Green Island, fire up a five-star treat at the Top Chef Kitchen Shelter — and try NOT to get fired on The Apprentice.  You’re in –you’re out — but you're here to stay!  This week tops the tube!

Wheel, or No Wheel
What’s behind Tree Number Two? A week of goofy game show challenges! Your unit will compete in the High Eye-Cue Jeopardy Jamboree, spin the Wheel of Fortune, Press Your Luck, Double Dare and lots of other fun and exciting contests taken from game shows. If you have a favorite, let’s play! We have just one question for you: Deal? Hit that big red button!

Time Warp
That’s SO 2003!  Have a blast living in the past during this roaring retro week.  Each day is a different decade of music, fashions, trends and culture.  Get hip, funky, groovy and cool as the week goes on!  If you like dress-ups and dances, you’ll get into the fun, flapper-hippie-fifties girl!
